As you progress in Diablo 4, you will inevitably discover legendary gear with desirable aspects that you would like to keep. In order to do so, you will need to visit a specific shop where you can add these aspects to an item you are already using.

Where Can Aspects be Removed? To utilize aspects, you will need to visit an Occultist. One such Occultist can be found in Kyovashad. Look for the icon featuring a triangle with three circles around each edge. Below is an image indicating the location.

How to Imbue Aspects Once you have arrived at the appropriate shop, approach the vendor and engage in conversation. Different menus will appear once you initiate dialogue. Pay attention to the "Imprint Aspect" menu, as that is the only one relevant to your task. First, select the desired item. Then, proceed to choose an aspect that you wish to equip.

Afterward, scroll down to the "Codex of Power" and select the aspect you possess. The buffs added to the item will be displayed under the "Item Preview" tab. Ensure that you have enough gold and Veiled Crystals to purchase the buffs.

How to Extract Aspects To extract an aspect, speak to the same vendor and navigate to the "Extract Aspects" menu. From there, go to the "Legendary Item" tab and select the item containing the desired aspect. It is important to note that extracting the aspect will result in the destruction of the gear it is linked to. Therefore, ensure that you no longer require the item before proceeding with extraction.

Once you have chosen an item, you can preview the aspect and equip it on other eligible items. Unlike imprinting aspects, Veiled Crystals are not necessary for extraction. Only gold is required.
